Dr Wilfried Moroder

Admitted as an Associate Member (AEIGCA) in 2006; upgraded to Member (MEIGCA) in 2019.

Born in 1954, Wilfried graduated in Architecture (Florence 1977), is passionate about British golf culture and plays 11 hcp.

Since 1978 he has worked in town and landscape planning; he has also designed residential, tourism and sporting buildings.

Since 1997 he has practiced golf course design for tourism investors and in 1999 founded MPS Ltd.

His 30 years of experience and the knowledge of construction, detailing and site control guarantee synergic quality for the design of entire golf resorts.

MPS uses CAD/CAM for 3D-modelling and renderings, GIS for environmental analysis, aiming to maintenance quality and budget control.

The 18-holes at Passiria-I show Wilfried’s capability to fit a modern strategic course into a difficult terrain: with ecological sensibility and intelligent earth moving to avoid blind holes, he created quality target golf with 7 lakes.

Current works are S.Pietro-Sardinia, Fiemme (27), ValGardena (18). Main project is a 54-hole resort in Sicily, where he designed the masterplan for 504 ha with clubhouse, villas and golf-hotel & spa.
