Joining European Design in late 2004, Robin took on the lead designer role for the 18-hole course at Casa Serena, in the Czech Republic. This course is rated by ‘Top 100 Golf Courses’ as the No.1 course in the Czech Republic and was the host of the Foxconn Open on the European Seniors Tour from 2008 to 2011. Robin followed this with the spectacular desert course at the Royal Golf Club at Riffa Views, in Bahrain, in conjunction with Colin Montgomerie. This is the current host venue of the Bahrain Championship on the DP World Tour. Another project with Colin Montgomerie, was the coastal 18-hole Montgomerie Rabat course, at Plage des Nations, which opened in 2018. The highly acclaimed JCB Golf & Country Club in Staffordshire, England is Robin’s most well known original design. The course opened fully in 2019 and is rated amongst the top 100 courses in Great Britain & Ireland and the best parkland course in England. It is the host venue of LIV UK.
He also designed the first 18-hole course in Siberia, located in Krasnoyarsk. which is now fully open and the beautiful mountain top course at Okol Lake Park, in Bulgaria.
In 2025, Robin has completed the restoration of Harry Colt’s East Course at Wentworth, along with a new golf academy and par 3 course. The new 18-hole La Grande Mare, in Guernsey is scheduled to open in August 2026.
