Architect Agustín Pizá was lucky to be born in México. To date he is the first Latin American to earn a Masters Degree in Golf Course Architecture from Edinburgh University and the first Senior member of EIGCA. Agustin began his career coordinating three of Mexico's most recognizable golf course projects: Palmilla, El Dorado and Querencia. With 21 years experience in the golf industry he has collaborated with legends such as Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio and Robert von Hagge, and worked on world class golf projects such as Vidanta, Maravilla and Puerta Cortés. His practice is known for its quality of work and for delivering aesthetic and strategic sculptures.

Pizá is an 'out-of-the-box' thinker and a TV Host in Azteca TV, Golf Channel LATAM and Ted Talk speaker. He has been published across three continents and is a regular columnist for prestigious lifestlyes magazines.
