The latest flagship project from Staedler & Reinmuth Golfdesign – La Maviglia in Apuglia, Italy – has received construction permission within a record-breaking time span of less than 2 months after application.
La Maviglia is projected to be an ultra high-end resort with 18 golf holes, two all-suite wellness hotels and 35 private luxury villas. The developer, Nicola Cortese, has proclaimed that his golf resort shall be second to none in Italy. Construction of the golf course shall start in early 2025.
In August, construction started at Armada Golf Club Bytom, in Silesia, Poland. The first 9 holes on this spectacular former coalmine site opened for play in 2013. Now, finally, the extension to 18 holes is taking shape. The golf course is unique not only because of its routing across the former coal dumps, but also because of its location in the middle of the city of Bytom, so that it can be quickly reached by various means of public transport or even by bicycle.
Construction has started at the Golf Club Peine-Edemissen near Hannover. Staedler Reinmuth Golfdesign has developed a masterplan for the renovation of the existing 18-hole course and for a future extension to 27 holes. In the first phase of construction, which has just begun, the second 9 holes are being renovated and partially rebuilt. A new lake, two new greens complexes and a complete overhaul of the bunkers are the highlights of the current phase of construction. The construction work is being carried out by EIGCA Bronze Partner, Pötter Golf. In 2026, the first 9 holes will be similarly optimised and secured for the foreseeable future.
We recently received a contract from GolfRange, the largest operator of German golf courses, to expand its 9-hole golf course in Berlin-Grossbeeren to 18 holes. The image below shows a visualisation of the future extension, created by EIGCA Bronze Partner, GolfGraffix.
