The Hurlingham Club hails new Club Car URBAN

The Hurlingham Club, the prestigious private members’ club in south-west London, has praised the efficiency and operational savings of its new Club Car URBAN fleet, the road-legal utility model from the leading small-wheel electric vehicle manufacturer.
The Hurlingham Club is an oasis of tranquillity set in 42 acres on the banks of the River Thames, offering many different sports, activities and hospitality to its 15,000 members.

It has chosen three versatile, zero-emission Club Car URBAN vehicles, known for their impressive efficiency, superior handling and unrivalled safety credentials, to assist in the maintenance of the grounds.
Nathan Totton, the Club’s Deputy Head of Buildings, said: “The Club Car URBAN has already made a big difference to our operations.
“The ability to drive off-site is a very important benefit for the team. It makes it very easy to collect materials from local suppliers when required.
“And on-site, they are very easy to navigate around the narrow pathways we have here, and they are much quieter than traditional utility vehicles, which ensures a peaceful environment for our members.”
He added: “We’ve used Club Car utility vehicles for a number of years, so when they introduced a new road-legal model it was a no-brainer.
“Overall we’re delighted with the URBAN. Crucially, they offer long-term savings because of the reduced operational and maintenance costs.”
