SURTEC to lead Agronomy and Irrigation Design at Trump International Golf Oman

At the end of 2024, EIGCA Bronze Partner, SURTEC, was selected as the firm responsible for agronomic consultancy and irrigation design services for the new Trump International Golf in Oman, one of the most ambitious golf and luxury developments currently underway in the Middle East.
Located in the coastal hills of AIDA, a development rising more than 100 meters above sea level with privileged views over the Gulf of Oman, the project is led by Dar Global and The Trump Organization. With an estimated investment of $500 million, Trump International Oman will include a five-star hotel, luxury residences, a private social club, high-end dining areas, and an 18-hole golf course built to the highest quality standards.
SURTEC will be responsible for defining the agronomic strategy of the course and designing a high-performance irrigation system with top-tier technology, ensuring maximum efficiency under the demanding climatic conditions and water availability of the region. The work will include assessments on root zone sands, water quality and availability, turfgrass alternatives for different course areas, irrigation demand calculations, full hydraulic design, and technical supervision throughout the construction and grow-in phases of the golf course.
SURTEC’s involvement in this landmark project reinforces its presence on the international stage. The company is currently engaged in various projects under construction, maintenance, or restoration in Europe, South America, and the Middle East, bringing its expertise in advanced agronomic management, applied engineering, and technical excellence in golf course maintenance.
