The President’s Cup and overall winner on Old and New Courses combined was Ronan Branigan (EIGCA) – who shot an amazing 66 gross, net 64 on the Old – can you be a bandit off a handicap of 2?
The runner up prize was won by Ken Moodie (EIGCA)
Rick Baril (ASGCA) and Willy Bassin (EIGCA) also won prizes, respectively, for the best round on the New and the best round on the Old Course.
“Hamish the headcover” was presented to Peter Nordwall from the Federation of Scandinavian Golf Architects (FSGA) who distinguished himself by returning very respectable scores over both Old and New Courses playing with hickories and a ball of uncertain provenance that had been lent to him by Dr Steve Otto of The R&A.
