Goetz Mecklenburg was a member of EIGCA until he retired in 2009.
He was born in 1943 in Berlin, Germany, and is a landscape architect with a diploma in landscape architecture and ecology from Munich University. Since 1980, his professional focus has shifted towards golf course design, drawing on his fifty years of experience as a golfer and his expertise in ecological relationships, demanding golf course design, and landscape architecture.
In 1988, he became a founding member of the Harradine Architect Group and served as its managing director in Germany.
