Gerold Hauser was a member of EIGCA until he retired in 2021.
Gerold Hauser, educated as a Landscape Architect at HBLV Vienna, has extensive experience in golf course construction and design across various projects in Austria, Italy, Spain, Germany, Norway, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Greece. He also serves as an advisor for different sports facilities with turf grass areas and is a member of the FLL Committee for Guidelines on Golf Course Construction.
As a former President of the ESGA (European Society of Golf Course Architects), Gerold Hauser was instrumental in founding the ESGA, which later merged to establish the EIGCA.
Born in 1937, Gerold Hauser resides and operates from Vienna. He is married and has three children. His specialization lies in designing golf courses in environmentally sensitive areas, creating natural golf courses, and ensuring safety on the golf course. Throughout his career, he has designed more than 40 golf courses across Europe.
