Members & Partners given access to the JCB Golf and Country Club

Hosted by the JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire, 20 EIGCA members and partners were granted exclusive access for a walk around the course with architect, Robin Hiseman MEIGCA.

Attendees first heard from Robin and club officials about the genesis of the Club and the many challenges encountered in creating this new course. This was followed by a course walk to see and experience first-hand the solutions put in place which led to the course being listed in the Top 100 of Best News Golf Courses in Europe, at No. 24.

Providing opportunities for EIGCA members and partners to meet and get-together is a cornerstone of EIGCA’s Partnership Programme. This series of regional CPD and Golf Days is the EIGCA Council’s solution to the travel restrictions imposed to stop the spread of COVID. The first of the series was held in Dusseldorf, Germany in October 2020. The third will be in Stockholm, Sweden in September.

This event was a learning opportunity and CPD credits are available for EIGCA members. Members who attended have been sent the details of how to claim the available credits.
