Harradine Golf AG Via Stazione 17A

Caslano CH-6987

Switzerland

Born in 1945 in Berne, Switzerland, Peter continues a family tradition that dates back to 1920. He represents the third generation of golf course architects.

Playing golf was compulsory in the family and Peter received his first set of clubs at the age of 6. Many, many rounds of golf could not improve a handicap of 5.

1965-1966 Peter went to U.S.A. to study the theoretical and practical aspects of landscaping and golf design and construction.

Peter is the Chief Architect at `Harradine Golf` and has personally designed and co-designed over 180 golf courses in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia from projects at sea level in arid, hot, rocky and salty conditions to ecologically sensitive courses in the plains and up to alpine sites at altitudes of 1850 m.

Peter is a former President of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects and the European Society of Golf Course Architects.

Recipient of EIGCA’s Outstanding Contribution Award in June 2024.
