A Scot, Ken Moodie combined his lifelong love of golf with a degree in Landscape Architecture to pursue a career in golf course architecture in 1989. Following 9 years with Hawtree Ltd he established his own firm, Creative Golf Design, in 1998.

Ken has worked on over 20 new golf course developments, and advised more than 70 golf clubs on course improvement work throughout Europe in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Portugal and Spain. Ken has developed a network of consultants and works regularly with Ken Brown, 5 times Ryder Cup player and BBC TV commentator.

Current projects include the masterplanning of a new golf development for Scraptoft Golf Club near Leicester, in the UK, the redevelopment of two practice grounds for Headingley Golf Club, near Leeds, England, and many course improvement projects with established golf clubs. Ken believes that the best results are achieved when there is a good working relationship between the client and architect, something he always strives to achieve.
