Städler`s prevailing aim is to blend the golf holes perfectly into the landscape and to raise the ecological value of the site by creating lakes, wetland areas and other biotop features. His ambitious designs are challenging even the best players, yet offering a fair alternate route for the weaker players, thus making a round of golf enjoyable for everyone.
In November 2017, Christoph became the second member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects to qualify for the EIGCA's Sustainability Register. Inclusion on this register is for members who have completed the EIGCA's Raising the Standard of Sustainable Golf Course Development programme (RSSGCD) and demonstrated an industry-leading expertise and experience in sustainable golf course design. He is now a certified "Sustainable Design Leader".
