Husqvarna, a world leader in robotic mowers, introduces its latest edition to robotic turf care, Automower 535 AWD EPOS. Designed to excel in rough, hilly and undulated terrain, Automower 535 AWD EPOS features all-wheel drive (AWD) for outstanding performance on the most demanding surfaces. Its capability to handle slopes of up to 70% makes it ideal for the rugged edges and roughs found on golf courses, where precision and durability are key. Whether managing the rough or maintaining demanding spaces close to bunkers or other features on the golf course, this mower is built to deliver a perfect cut in even the most difficult-to-reach areas.

“One of the key challenges of maintaining a golf course is keeping the rough areas well-managed”, said Olle Markusson, Director of Product Management at Husqvarna. “With Automower 535 AWD EPOS, we’ve created a solution that combines the latest in robotic technology with the power and flexibility needed for tough environments. Greenkeepers can trust this mower to handle rough terrain while ensuring a high-quality cut.”

One of the mower’s most significant upgrades is its wire-free operation using EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System) technology, providing flexible installation options. Greenkeepers can now program wire-free mowing zones, making it easier to adapt to the specific needs of golf courses, including rougher surrounding areas. For those who prefer traditional installations, the option to use boundary wires is also available.

Automower 535 AWD EPOS is designed to cover up to 6,000 square meters in 48 hours, offering impressive efficiency for maintaining expansive areas. This makes it an ideal solution for golf course maintenance, where rough areas and surrounding landscapes require specialized attention to ensure the course remains in top condition for players and visitors. Pattern cutting will be available from second quarter 2025 and will come as a software update over the air.

Automower 535 AWD EPOS will be available in Europe and start to roll out end of February 2025.
