Council and Officer Elections

Council rotation
The Institute’s Articles of Association require a Council comprised of a maximum number of eight members (which must be Fellows or Members). In accordance with Article 15 (a) of The Articles of Association, at least two Council members must retire at each AGM.
At this meeting:
- In accordance with Article 15 (b), Caspar Grauballe MEIGCA, the Council member longest in office since last being elected, retires and wishes to stand for re-election to Council, without nomination, in accordance with Article 15 (c).
- In accordance with Article 15 (b), Gary Johnston MEIGCA, the Council member with the second-longest term in office since last being elected, retires and wishes to stand for re-election to Council, without nomination, in accordance with Article 15 (c).
There are therefore six Council members who remain and are not subject to election:
- David Bily MEIGCA
- Niall Glen MEIGCA
- Kari Haug MEIGCA
- Paul Kimber MEIGCA
- Christian Lundin MEIGCA
- Michiel van der Vaart MEIGCA
With no other nominations, Caspar Grauballe and Gary Johnston were re-elected to Council.

Officer election
Caspar Grauballe stood for re-election as President, proposed by Gary Johnston MEIGCA and seconded by David Bily MEIGCA.
Gary Johnston stood for re-election as Vice President, proposed by Caspar Grauballe MEIGCA and seconded by David Bily MEIGCA.
With no other nominations, Caspar Grauballe was re-elected as President and Gary Johnston was re-elected as Vice-President.
