2019 Inspired by Colt and Simpson

For a few years CJW Golf have been chipping away at New Zealand GC, to reinstate the Simpson characteristics of the course, whilst also improving green surrounds for maintenance and agronomic practices. We are more than half way through the phased masterplan of works planned for the course and look forward to continuing the developments in January 2020.

During the summer months CJW Golf LTD were appointed contractor by Real Club De LA Puerta De Hierro, to redevelop the 10th hole with green/surrounds, fairway and bunker works, inspired by Colt. Mobilising our specialised plant from the UK, we carried out the construction works over a 15-day period, paving the way for future works.

During the later months of 2019, CJW Golf LTD were appointed by Open Golf Club to carry out mass construction works between two of their sites at Hardelot Les Pins and the La Mer course at Le Touquet. Working to a very tight deadline for the multiple construction of green sites, tees and bunkers over which has been a logistical challenge, working to a critical timeline for grassing.

We are now looking forward to 2020 and working with many new clients and golf course architects, Conor J Walsh Golf LTD shaping the future.
