Welcome!

Over 700 venues across 46 countries participated in Women’s Golf Day on 6th June. In support of this initiative, Kari Haug, EIGCA Associate Member, has written a series of three articles with her answers on how the golfing industry can all work together to make the sport more appealing to female golfers.
We also have an article from Toro’s Andy Brown on Fleet Management and one by EIGCA Member David Williams on his intriguing solution to fitting 18 holes onto five greens.

We have added three new books to the collection: Tillinghast: Creator of Golf Courses, Golf Tourism, and The Centurions of Golf: 100 English Courses celebrating 100 years of golf. I chanced upon the last title while searching for something else on Amazon – it is an interesting account of the history of golf as told through the development of golf courses. They are all available to borrow from the Library.
The EIGCA Library has over 1500 books and journals, most of which are available to borrow. The Librarian can help you with any research you may need using materials in the collection or by online searching.
