Welcome!

Spring is coming along nicely here in Surrey, with daffodils and cherry blossom out in full force. We hope the weather is kind wherever you are.

In this issue we have an article on Technology and Design by Paul Kimber, and a personal view of Tobacco Road Golf Course by Robin Hiseman. We’d like to include more of these ‘personal views’ so if any members have a favourite course they would like to write about, please send it to us.

We also have the first of our ‘Member Spotlight’ features, in which we look at the career of Peter Fjällman, who steps down from Council after twelve years’ service. Peter is the first member to have moved up through all categories of membership from student to Past President.
