Dave Thomas, who passed away on 27th August 2013 at the age of 79, was a Senior Member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects who became a prolific golf course designer following a highly successful playing career. More

Four EIGCA first year students attended the second of five workshops at the headquarters of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects near Guildford, Surrey. The workshop was designed specifically to encourage the students to think in three dimensions and to provide practical experience of working with contours on site. More
EIGCA Students Tour Scotland With TORO
The students graduating from the 2011-13 EIGCA’s Vocational Qualification course were invited by their Gold Industry Partner, TORO, to a Study Tour of some of the golf courses in Fife, Scotland. TORO has throughout the years awarded a special prize to one of the students but this year TORO very generously decided to invite all students to receive this fantastic opportunity to visit the Home of Golf.
