Learning Live is an important event as it gives our partner companies the opportunity to educate members about what they do. Across the two half-day sessions, five partners spoke about how they are driving innovation in golf course design and development.
Bronze partner, Turfcare, opened the event with a video about rootzone amendments, followed by silver partner Husqvarna who explored robotic mowing and its impact on the design of golf courses. Gold partner Toro was up next and talked about the future of golf course fleet management, and bronze partner Indigrow ended the session with sustainable golf course grow-in.
Day two began with a talk from bronze partner GolfGraffix which helped attendees understand drone photogrammetry. Next up on screen was Golf Course Architecture magazine about encouraging young people into golf, with insight from their forthcoming feature in the magazine. Gold Partner Rain Bird covered how technology has a role in enhancng efficiency in irrigation and how data can be used effectively. The event came to a close with EIGCA Patron, GEO, introducing their recently launched Sustainable Golf Renovation Guidelines.
Learning Live 2024 will be held at the same time of year and will be an in-person event.
