All Golf Services carries out renovation at Ekholmsnäs Golf Lidingö in Sweden

In autumn 2022, All Golf Services began a major reconstruction of the 9 holes at Ekholmsnäs Golf located near Stockholm on the Lidingö island.

The constantly growing number of club members and visitors of established in 2001 Ekholmsnäs Golf, as well as the demand for more playing and training areas, led to the development of a long-term plan for the extension of the golf course by the club owner. One of the stages of extension was the construction of a new golf academy and a short game practice area, which was carried out in 2016 by All Golf Services. The next stage of the plan is a general 9-hole reconstruction, which has been ongoing since autumn 2022. The site is located in a forest and is adjacent to a ski slope and a toboggan run.

The joint work of the investor and the contractor is aimed at inscribing the new project into the natural environment and integrating it into the beautiful landscape of the Lidingö island, changing the length and layout of the course.

The scope includes the new construction of all tees, fairways and greens, the entire site has been shaped, drained and sand capped. The new TORO Lynx system from EIGCA Gold Partner, TORO, has been installed and our ProBunker Liner has been used for bunker construction. Lastly, new golf paths to the club have been built, in order to improve communication on the course.
