Rogelio Abarca MEIGCA has work recognised in international competition

EIGCA Member, Rogelio Abarca MEIGCA, Senior Design Associate for Greg Norman Golf Course Design collaborated and coordinated the Norman Signature Course at Vidanta Nuevo at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

This project has been announced as The Best Renovation of the Year 2022 (Public/Resorts category) in the Golf Inc Renovation of the Year 2022 competition.

Rogelio was the Lead Designer of the project for Greg Norman Golf Course Design, involved in the design development and construction process of the Golf Course Project as Senior Design Associate.

He received the award in Kiahwah Island at the Golf INC Summit this October on behalf of the Design Team at GNGCD. The course is hosting a PGA Event in 2023 is the 2nd edition as the Mexico Open at Vidanta, this was achieved after the last phase of the renovation was completed in 2021
