EIGCA Bronze Partner Conor J Walsh Golf Continue to Flourish

CJW Golf Ltd have continued on from a busy 2020 period with our teams completing a number of large-scale projects in both UK and Europe.

This influx of new business has allowed us to expand and attract some of the best talent in the industry, seeing the appointment of new managers and shapers.

The start of 2021 saw our annual stop at NewZealand GC to continue our “Simpson” restoration works at the club. Carrying out works on holes 9,10, 11 which included the remodelling of current bunker locations, reinstatement of bunkers that were lost during the war and additional tees.

The final phase of works was carried out Guildford GC, seeing the completion of the bunker remodelling project.

In addition to the UK works, January saw the mobilisation and commencement to our flag ship project for 2021 Comporta Dunes in Portugal. located along the Atlantic coast 1hr south of Lisbon this new 18 hole golf course has been routed through the most fantastic landscape, flanked by mature pines and native scrub. Built on pure we are seeding cool season grasses on fairways and tees with creeping bent grass on the greens, we hope to have all completed during the summer.

We have a number of other exciting projects coming online that we will look forward to show casing in the coming months.
