Since I started to play golf I have been attracted to the study of the landscapes and the shapes that make the most memorable courses. I graduated in engineering and in September 2007 qualified as a Golf Course Architect through the achievement of a Master Degree at the Edinburgh College of Art (University of Edinburgh).
During the year spent in Scotland I visited all the places on which the first clubs where founded, discovering the secrets of courses like the Old Course of St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Muirfield, Turnberry, Royal Troon, North Berwick, Gleneagles and many others. This was a great experience that made me a better golfer and architect. I also spent time in England studying many historical courses that were at the foundation of classic golf course design.
I now work in association with golf professional Costantino Rocca, providing a wide range of services connected to a golf course project, including the development of new courses and restoration of existing ones.
