Marco Martin has a Masters Degree in Agricultural Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. He is been involved in golf design and engineering golf course projects since 1989 when he presented the first 18 hole Golf Course as a Graduate Project at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

As well as more than 25 years fully dedicated to golf course architecture, he has closely collaborated with the Dye family (Pete, Roy and Perry Dye) as golf architect rep on site, working in international golf construction. Later, in partnership with Blake Stirling, former Dye Design Senior golf course designer, he has completed more than 28 golf courses, under the umbrella of Global Golf Company and recently as the new business firm Stirling & Martin Golf Architects.

Marco Martin has accumulated a wide experience in developing golf course projects in different landscapes and climates such as Spain, Morocco, México, Cuba, Argentina, Ghana, Georgia, Bolivia, Mexico, Cuba, always looking for the best and more efficient golf course environmental integration.
