Education as Landscape-Architect (HBLV Vienna). Experienced in Golfcourse Construction and Design in various Golfprojects in Austria, Italy, Spain, Germany, Norway, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech. Republic and Greece. Advisor in different sport facilities on turf grass areas. Member of the FLL Commitee Guidelines for Golfcourse Construction.

A former President of the ESGA (European Society of Golf Course Architects), Gerold Hauser was one of the founders of the ESGA which was merged to found the EIGCA.

Gerold Hauser, born 1937, lives and works in Vienna, married, father of 3 children. His speciality is the range of golf in sensitive areas, natural golfcourses and safety on the golfcourse. He has designed more than 40 golfcourses all over Europe.

Ing. Gerold Hauser ist als Landschaftsarchitekt und Landschaftsgärtner in Österreich seit Jahren in führender Position und ist Bundesinnungsmeister der Gärtner und Floristen. Er ist allgem. beeid. und gerichtl. zertif. Sachverständiger für Golfplatzbau und Initiator der Greenkeeper-Ausbildung in Österreich.
