Resident in St. Andrews, Brian graduated MSc Golf Course Architecture with Distinction in 2004.
Since completing his studies Brian assisted the EIGCA in preparing their report for English Heritage, Golf Courses as Designed Landscapes of Historic Interest, and has worked as a golf course architect for a number of golf design offices on projects within Europe and the Middle East. Brian is currently engaged on course redevelopment work in Scotland.
In addition Brian is a fully qualified and practicing civil architect and is expertly placed to advise on all buildings associated with golf course development: from feasibility and masterplanning, golf clubhouse design, maintenance and ancillary buildings to both individual homes and larger residential scheme units.
He plays the game of golf to a single figure handicap.
