Baoxing Huidong Galaxy Golf Course, is a 27 hole golf project 80 km away from Shenzhen city, by the China Sea, in southeast China.
The owners merged with a large Shenzhen-based real estate company, to develop a large mixed use resort (real estate, hotels and golf courses) at want to create a golf destination for Beijing citizens and tourists, with outstanding design and performance.
In 2017 the owners company, after a selection process, hired our team to prepare a routing plan, planning designs and construction documents for a completely new 27 hole golf course.
The site is a mountain area, with dramatic elevation changes, making the routing plan a real test in order to optimize the required earthworks for a good golf course.
Works started in April 2017 and the first 18 holes par 72 6.658 meters playing distance was built and grassed by late October 2018.
The course and resort has been a success.
